Inspiration Monday

It doesn't matter how good, bad or indifferent a photograph is, you can usually find some part of it that will spark an idea.  For me, I'm wondering about creating surface texture on Lutradur XL, inspired by the texture of this piece of stone (which is part of a house somewhere in Scotland).  What does it inspire you to do?

I took photos last week of the wall around the Menai Straits with a view to doing something like this. Still waiting for my Lutradur XL though before I have a go...

I like to use photos like this as background for digital collages or blend them with other photos.

Hi Marion, I'm of the same mind as Heidi, and have used my own personal photographs of rusty surfaces, rough tree bark, and heavily clouded skies to add texture to digital images. I need to experiment more with my Lutradur, just too much of a fraidy cat.

I'm with both of you, here. I enjoy creating texture digitally, but I do think there are more ways to use this kind of image...

Linda, what would it take for you to use your lutradur? What's the worst thing that could possibly happen?
