Tip Of The Week.

Evolon makes a great base for needle felting, either by hand or machine.  The 'sun' and the dark green areas have been embellished onto the cloth after stitching, to emphasise the landscape dimensions, and give extra texture.  Try it out!

I haven't tried out the evolon as yet. It does look interesting though. My first use of lutrador has been a revelation.

I'll have a try with that - I need to get my embellisher out of hiding :o)

Thank you for this tip Marion. I have Evolon here, and it feels really silky/soft. I honestly hadn't thought about using it for felting, so thanks heaps. Love your little landscape, so cute.
