Tip Of The Week.

One of the most boring aspects of working with polyester is painting the paper.  I like to have a 'library' of paper to work with, and sloshing dye over paper for backgrounds is downright tedious.  So... get together with some friends and have a dye sloshing afternoon, preferably in the garden on a sunny day.  The paper will dry quickly if you do that, and you can either swap bits or collaborate on one bit to have a challenge amongst yourselves.  Cake is de rigeur...wine optional.

Above is a selection of lutradur coloured with transfer dyes.
